Staff Engineer / Tech Lead — .NET · Azure · System Integration
Zielona Góra / Remote LinkedIn

Software Engineer with 10+ years building and integrating systems on the Microsoft stack — C#, .NET, Azure and Dynamics 365. I work close to the business, design solutions end-to-end and own them in production, with a track record of taming technical debt, standardizing cloud infrastructure and automating the tedious parts. Recently stepped into Staff Engineer / Tech Lead roles. I like taking on the things others are scared to touch.

Work Experience

Heineken - Senior Software Development Engineer

11/2025 - Present

Senior Software Development Engineer — recognized within months as Staff Engineer and Tech Lead of UIL (Unified Integration Layer) — turning around an Accenture-built, technical-debt-heavy integration platform for a global brewer as it enters production rollout. Hands-on at every level: business alignment, architecture, deployments and production configuration.

▼ Show details
  • Designed and introduced a release-management process enabling four teams (Dynamics CE, Dynamics FO, Commerce Scale Unit and the integration layer) to deploy regularly and predictably — replacing ad-hoc, on-request deploys and version drift across environments.
  • Built 'ProcessTracking', a logging library that surfaces end-to-end message flow in Azure Workbooks — letting anyone trace a stuck message by entity ID (business partner, sales order, ...) to the exact system that must act.
  • Improved deployments and introduced feature flags across UIL — ~40 Azure Function Apps integrating Dynamics Commerce and other systems over Service Bus and APIM.
  • Driving production rollout from 4 pilot operating companies toward a target of ~70 (currently onboarding the next 11).
  • Ran hands-on training sessions across all three domain teams (~15 engineers) to onboard a fresh team onto an undocumented, debt-heavy codebase.
  • Next up: leading a retrofit to unify divergent system versions for regular everywhere-deployment, and introducing containerized apps on Kubernetes to streamline the integration path.

Ultrico - Software Engineer

01/2020 - 11/2025

Long-term engineer — and later de-facto tech lead — for a Swedish insurance client (Mysafety), working directly with the business to design, build, deploy and own .NET / Azure / Dynamics CE systems end-to-end over nearly six years.

▼ Show details
  • Designed and built a reusable Bicep infrastructure library that standardized Azure deployments across all the team's projects — one fill-in template (project name + required resources) provisioned every resource with consistent naming, security policies and conventions, killing per-project drift and copy-paste.
  • Designed end-to-end and built a two-way synchronization layer between the core insurance platform and Dynamics CE (Azure Functions on timers, OData), keeping frequently-changing customers and orders consistent in both systems.
  • Led the migration to Dynamics CE: built an order-import pipeline (creating orders in Dynamics while reusing the Partner API, timer-driven Azure Function processing with per-record error handling and UI-triggered retries via Logic App / plugin) and a custom marketing-to-call-center integration (custom marketing tile, real-time-marketing Power Automate flows, Service Bus, Function Apps and plugins writing call results back).
  • Extended the async Partner API (queue-based order intake with status polling) with batch submission and a validation endpoint, and migrated it from on-prem to Azure (Azure SQL, App Service, APIM) — designed, implemented and owned solo.
  • Implemented partner-commission attribution in the core platform as a gaps-and-islands problem in T-SQL — correctly crediting which partner introduced each customer across lapses in their insurance coverage — using window functions and execution-plan tuning.
  • Designed and maintained 15+ Azure microservices (.NET 5–6+, Azure Functions / App Service) — SMS & email gateways, order and identity/PEP validation, telemarketing and eventing — and optimized SQL Server procedures across systems, removing deadlocks and speeding up processing with window functions.
  • Most recently worked with Azure Data Lake, Microsoft Fabric and PySpark on a migration to a new data platform.

Credit Suisse - Senior Software Developer

09/2018 - 12/2019

Sole engineer owning a time-tracking system used by ~4500 bank employees — time reporting, leave & overtime requests with manager approvals, and HR reporting.

▼ Show details
  • Re-engineered broken working-time calculation: reverse-engineered tangled SQL stored procedures, gathered requirements with HR, and rewrote the business logic in .NET with TDD — fixing incorrect overtime/undertime results and making the logic readable and predictable.
  • Made the system work across all modern browsers — it had been Internet Explorer–only — unblocking the entire ~4500-person user base.
  • Owned the full lifecycle solo: requirements with the PO and business, CI/CD (Jenkins, Strela, SPUDS, Transporter), deployments and production support.
  • Maintained leave & overtime request/approval workflows and HR reporting.

Cinkciarz.pl - Junior/Mid Software Developer

Building AML / compliance systems and a premium FX trading app at a fintech, plus fluent build & deployment tooling for the .NET teams.

▼ Show details
  • Developed AML (anti-money-laundering) modules in a WinForms + DevExpress desktop app backed by ~10 protobuf microservices (each with its own SQL Server database) — sanctions & PEP screening via third-party provider APIs and detection of suspicious transaction titles.
  • Built real-time FX trading features for premium clients in a WPF app: integrated the pricing system over the FIXT protocol and implemented stop-loss, take-profit and trailing-stop orders, shipped to production.
  • Developed fluent build & deployment tooling (cake .NET) adopted across three .NET teams — new microservices were configured and deployed from a single config file using composable building blocks, integrated with TeamCity and Jenkins.
  • Built an in-house role-management / RBAC layer and employee-data handling for the AML application.

Maintaining and performance-tuning .NET / SQL Server systems for a high-volume SMS & email campaign platform (millions of emails and hundreds of thousands of SMS per day).

▼ Show details
  • Cut a long-running billing/reporting SQL job from ~12 hours to under 1 hour by analyzing execution plans and adding the right indexes.
  • Owned and documented the SOAP API that clients used to integrate with the platform and send or schedule SMS / email campaigns programmatically.
  • Wrote diagnostic and performance-tuned T-SQL across billing and reporting processes, optimizing existing procedures via execution-plan analysis.
  • Maintained the redlink.pl web application (.NET / WebForms).

Multisoft S. A. - Junior Software Developer

02/2015 - 02/2016

Building and maintaining Windows desktop software for centralized monitoring and audit of air-traffic-control servers across multiple airports.

▼ Show details
  • Co-owned the flagship WPF/MVVM monitoring application as a two-person junior team (after the senior left) — a live dashboard of 20–30 servers per airport with remote VNC access, real-time error/warning alerts and remote power on/off.
  • Stabilized flaky third-party VNC controls by isolating each session on its own thread with automatic recovery on crash — keeping the tool reliable in a safety-critical air-traffic environment.
  • Built the companion app for the hardware 'Video Grabber' keystroke/screen-capture system that reconstructed operator sessions for audit — without installing any software on the locked-down airport servers — replaying captured input in order, with timing.
  • Implemented USB-dongle licensing and managed the SQL Server backend holding configuration and the server/VM inventory.
